At Jewels by Jess here in Dothan, Alabama, I love working closely with customers to design one-of-a-kind pieces that reflect who they are. Recently, I had the pleasure of creating a very special custom butterfly ring for a customer who wanted something deeply personal and completely unique.
When she visited my studio, we spent time getting to know each other. I learned that she’s an avid writer and a lover of fantasy novels. She adores the color purple and has a soft spot for rose gold. Most importantly, she told me that butterflies hold a meaningful place in her life.
Taking all of this into account, I designed a ring that was both beautiful and symbolic. The centerpiece is an oval-cut natural purple sapphire, surrounded by diamond accents along the butterfly-shaped wings and down the rose gold band. Every detail was chosen with her story in mind.
She was absolutely thrilled with the final result—and since then, we've collaborated on several more custom jewelry pieces together.
